Jonathan K. Hansen is a partner at Hansen Black Anderson Ashcraft. Mr. Hansen specializes in estate planning, asset protection and business transactions. He has particular expertise in the area of structured finance and business combination transactions. He currently represents mature corporations, start-up companies, investment managers, and individuals located in Utah, Wyoming, Illinois and California in matters including wills and trusts, mergers and acquisitions, licensing agreements and real estate transactions.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Hansen has twelve years of business experience as a private equity investment professional, technology company CEO, and real estate investor, lender and developer. As a principal investor and company operator, Mr. Hansen has led or participated in dozens of transactions involving growth equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, initial public offerings, PIPEs, fund formations, employee equity incentive plans, secured loans, leases, joint ventures, operating partnerships, equipment financings, real estate construction, water rights, and land acquisition and development. This broad business experience enables Mr. Hansen to offer his clients unique insights from the perspective of a person familiar with the pressures, constraints and complexities of operating a business. He has served on the boards of directors of seven companies.
